Dan began his career in the commercial real estate industry in 1989, concentrating on tenant representation throughout Atlanta.  Dan has had the privilege of representing both large international corporations in addition to local companies. Dan’s specialties are assisting professional services firms as well as technology firms in structuring the most beneficial lease or sale for their needs. This includes restructures, acquisitions, dispositions and any other Requirements his clients may have.

Experience

Dan has been an Owner and Associate Broker of Joel & Granot Real Estate since merging his company with Alan Joel Partners in January 2010. Since then, Joel & Granot Real Estate has become a leading Atlanta commercial real estate brokerage and investment firm. A spotlight of a few of Dan’s significant transactions includes representing RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc. with an 85,000 SF HQ relocation, Weissman P.C. for their 50,000 SF lease at One Alliance Center in Buckhead, and Popeyes, Inc. for their 60,000 SF lease in the Central Perimeter.  He has worked with Prudential, Wolters Klewer, Conklin Metals and the Lucas Group on both large and small portfolio transactions throughout the United States.

Dan’s skills go beyond commercial real estate and onto the tennis and pickleball courts.  As a junior, Dan ranked in the Top 10 in the United States on numerous occasions.  He played varsity tennis at both the University of Georgia and the University of Arkansas. He also won the Atlanta City Open doubles title on six different occasions.  Dan’s most recent passion is Pickleball where he has been ranked in the top 10 Senior Open Pro Players in the United States for the last four years.  Dan and his wife Wendy have three daughters, Hannah, Ava and Olivia.
