In the Spotlight: Atlanta's Favorite Commercial
Broker's Birthday Bash a Blast,
continued
Must
be the return of NAIOIP's famed Fight Night, either
that or ULI Atlanta's annual awards, right? Wrong.
It's Danny Granot's 50th birthday blast. Complete
with a live performance by
Goat Rodeo.
Atlanta's best neighborhood rocks as
it celebrates Danny Granot's 50th birthday.
The party, complete with a damn-good neighborhood
band, took place Nov. 7 at the home of Wendy and
Danny Granot in Atlanta's Brookwood Hills
neighborhood. (Brookwood Hills is home to more
commercial real estate pros, lawyers, investors and
developers than any other in the city, but more to
come on that later.)
Think
about this gathering. The people permanently
transforming intown Atlanta - Bronfman - Ponce City
Market; Kelley,
redeveloping and renovating Manuel's site;
Cochran, creator of
Krog Street Market and
The Office
apartments
- all under one tent for a singular reason - to
celebrate Danny Granot. Danny isn't just a great guy and
great tenant rep, he's clearly the most-connected guy in
metro Atlanta. As such, hundreds of his friends braved
Atlanta’s recently rainy weather [SIC] to come out to
his backyard party.
[Said
renowned Real Estate PR expert Tony Wilbert of The
Wilbert Group:] Caroline and I are lucky enough to live
across the street from the Granots, who are ideal
neighbors. When we moved to Brookwood Hills, we lived
right next to the Granots, and our kitchen looked
directly into their dining room. (This vista showed us
that they throw great parties and serve delicious food
and Dark & Stormy cocktails.)
Danny
delivered a heartfelt thanks to partygoers and talked of
the important roles his mother and father (90) had on
his life. They raised a good man.
